What's New |
May 2001Hey Great '98! Happy three year anniversary on our graduation! Doesn't seem like three years does it? By now we've all settled into some sort of routine, most of us are done with schooling, many of us are qualified in our given field, and hopefully everyone is enjoying his or her time in the Navy as best he or she can. Since I received no new letters from the last article, I unfortunately don't have much to tell you about. We've had a lot of Classmates get married in the past three years, and I'm about the make the jump myself. I'll be getting married two days from now, 10 March, in Charleston, SC. I'll put the photos in next month. Some of you may have heard about the 6.8 earthquake up here in Seattle. James Jones (SDO) and Justin Anderson (EDO) got to see how dark it gets on a submarine when the power goes out. Also, if you ever wanted to know if a submarine could elevate off its support blocks while in dry-dock, it can. Luckily we had no injuries. Here's another pitch for our Web site, www.usna98.org. In about six months I'll start to put info about our Reunion on the page. Also, if anyone wants to coordinate a mini-reunion at the Army-Navy game just let me know and I'll do what I can to help out. Until next month, have fun, be safe, and let me know what's going with the '98ers around the fleet. Fair winds...DSF | |||||
