October 2002
Happy Halloween great '98! The seasons are just blowing by, but it
sure doesn't feel like it out here in Hawaii. We just make ourselves
believe that it really is October. Hopefully everyone is well, and I'll
move right in to the letters for this month.
David Coe was recently married to the former Beth Ruschmeier
and sent in a great photo. Here is his letter:
The summer back here in Hampton Roads has been great. We welcomed home
Scott Walgren and Brian Love about a week after the wedding.
Scott was deployed with a det from HC-6 an BATAAN and Brian was
with WHIDBEY ISLAND. We are now anxiously awaiting the return of
Brian Summers who is flying F/A-18s off KENNEDY. I am
approaching crunch time for my PNEO exam and then back to the Jacksonville
for another ten months. Congradulations to James Jones who just passed his
exam last week. If you hadn't heard-Dale Matheny's exam went well,
too.
Congratulations to you, David, on the wedding and best of luck on your PNEO
exam (which you'll most likely know the results of by the time you read
this.)

And that's all the news I have for you this month '98. I know our web site
is not as up to date as CNN, but check back from time to time to find out
about our five-year reunion, which is just around the bend. Plan on Labor
Day weekend. My intent is to have it on that three-day weekend so more
people will be able to attend. Catch you next month. Fair winds -DSF
